An introductory talk on all things menopause to enable you to make more empowered and informed choices during your menopause transition.

DESCRIPTION

I am delighted to share with you, Let’s Talk Menopause – Understanding The Menopause Transition , an online two hour introductory talk on all things menopause in which I will share with you empowering tools, knowledge, experience and wisdom to help you, gain greater understanding and awareness and in turn, be able to make more empowered and informed choices towards a healthier and happier menopause transition.

During our time together you will be held in the safe and loving space of a women’s circle where we will talk about, share, inspire and empower each other with discussions and a talk, about all things menopause.

We will; explore new, alternate and empowering ways of viewing and experiencing the menopause, gain an overview of the menopause and what it is and outline the key steps that you can start to take today to create greater health, wholeness and happiness during your menopause transition and beyond.

I look forward to welcoming you into this safe, confidential and non judgemental space where you can come to be heard and held in the loving wisdom and grace of other women who understand where you are, what you are going through and what the challenges are that you might be facing at this time.

This talk is open to all, whether you are pre-menopause wanting to learn more to prepare for the menopause, or in peri-menopause, menopause or post menopause.

Research has shown that the more you know about what to expect during menopause the less likely it is to negatively impact your life.

The menopause is commonly thought to be associated with women in their early to mid 50’s and that it is true to the extent that that is the time around which most women find their periods stop. However, the less commonly spoken about peri-menopause can start to occur in women in their early 40’s, sometimes even earlier in mid to late thirties. So,

It is never too early to start learning about the menopause!

The peri-menopause is the transitional period before menopause (when the period stops). Women can experience peri-menopause for many years prior to their menstrual bleed stopping. During peri-menopause, levels of oestrogen, a key female hormone, start to decrease. This decline causes us to experience menopause symptoms, such as hot flushes, irregular periods, increased anxiety, fatigue and insomnia.

My work compliments conventional medical interventions such as HRT.

Whether you take HRT or not this talk can support you in the management of; your symptoms, as well as your general health and wellbeing. As well as helping you to gain increased self awareness, understanding and support through all the years of your transition.

ABOUT ME, SOPHIA GRACE (Your Group facilitator):

I will be sharing with you practical tools and everyday practices that I have developed and learnt over my 20 years plus as a complimentary therapist and holistic practitioner as well as the latest knowledge, research and information on the subject of menopause from my training as a Menopause Yoga teacher and Holistic and Wellbeing Menopause Practitioner. My passion lies in an integrative approach of sound, breath and movement and I am excited to share practices from both eastern and western modalities such as Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Energy Medicine, Sound etc that have enabled, me personally and, my clients to find a greater sense of health, wholeness and happiness in menopause.

Refunds are only available up to 7 days before the live event, and it can take 14 days for the funds to reach your bank account.

This talk will address the subject of the menopause and symptoms in a general way. The menopause is a vast subject. If you would like support with specific menopause topics, symptoms or concerns, I carry out one-to-sessions and also run talks and workshops that cover specific topics, practices and symptoms in detail.
